![]() The Basic Filters Blueprint is used to craft "Basic Filters." The raw materials required to craft Basic Filters include 1 Lysterium Ingot and 1 Oil. ![]() You can purchase additional blueprint books and blueprints at any Technician. I)," and the blueprint is "Basic Filters Blueprint." You may continue to use these items to craft even after the tutorial, for as long as you wish. The Calypso Gateway offers new colonists their first blueprint book and blueprint as part of the crafting tutorial. However, the crafting process itself is rather simple to learn the most useful tool a crafter can develop is a solid understanding of the Entropia Universe economy. This guide contains basic information to help you begin your journey as a crafter. Pleasantly note that you will never be forced to select one activity for your avatar it is possible for a single colonist to be a hunter, a miner, a crafter, and much more, simply by taking part in each associated activity. Colonists who spend a portion of their time crafting are called crafters. This can be quite a costly loss for new players who are inexperienced at crafting. Piecing elaborate items together is not easy for your avatar, and failure will result in some or all of the raw materials going to waste. Crafting is not necessarily the best choice of initial activity for new players with limited funds, however. Crafting literally allows you to choose your own loot, unlike hunting or mining. This means that by crafting with a particular blueprint and recipe of raw materials, you are guaranteed to receive the associated item in return, if the crafting attempt is successful. Each item that can be crafted requires its own specific blueprint. Crafting consists of creating items from their raw materials using blueprints. Mining consists of searching for resources in the ground, and extracting whatever is found. Hunting consists of killing mobs to acquire whatever items they were carrying. This is how every single F2P MMO works - if you're even lucky enough to have one of the few that allows you to exchange in-game money for premium currency or game time(different details here, but same concept) - you work harder and smarter to be able to keep playing for free.Three of the most common activities in the Entropia Universe are hunting, mining, and crafting. I'm a little confused by the ragey sounding part though, especially since he/she already said it's doable with some patience, intelligence, luck, and more time than if you were paying. to pay for your ammo(or whatever other gear instead for healing, mining, etc). I already play several other games and MMOs and if basic sustainability through hours of gameplay isn't a feature in this game, I'll surely leave without depositing a single cent. If this isn't doable, I'll quit the game and never deposit anything. ![]() I'm not even trying to be profitable, just cover my basic ammo. ![]() If your expectations are to be self sustaining or profiting by blindly huntingĪll I'm trying to do is pay for my ammo. I'm just looking for something that drops enough shrapnel for me using bulkin's to be sustainable >_> No matter what I hunt it's been going negatively very steadily. I am and its slowly getting closer and closer to 0. That being said, I hope you are converting your looted shrapnel (right click it and press convert) I was just hoping that I'm killing the wrong things and if I switch up what I train on that I could at least get the ammo back that I use over time. Looks like I'll be moving on and play other games once I run out of ammo. This is very disheartening and I'm glad you told me this at this stage of the game.
